This air intake system produces 14 horsepower, 16 lbs. x ft. torque and out-flows the factory intake by 63%. These improvements are the result of utilizing a high flow conical air filter attached to a 3-angle adaptor with built-in mass airflow sensor pad for improves volumetric efficiency. A durable 16 gauge, powder-coated heat shield that keeps out performance-draining heat. In addition, a heat-insulating molded plastic tube replaces the stock intake tract to direct increased air flow into the engine. The one-piece heat shield requires little or no assembly and the washable/reusable filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.

Note: This intake will fit Silverado/Sierra with a mechanical fan.
